So I am finally ready to write something. It has been a long while since I have posted anything and I think there have been a lot of reasons for that. But, let me get everyone caught up on what we have all been up too.
Grace - well she is almost two and she always has a smile and something to say. She is quite the climber lets see we have had to have staples put in her head from falling about the third time off the stools, she had tubes in since we have had so many ear infections and I am so grateful for them and her and bug bites too mix too well her bites just swell up. She is a great sleeper, a great eater and loves her brother and sisters.
Logan - he had a great 1st grade and did great in school. He hasn't had anymore seizures since last (08') May. We are so grateful for that. Logan has found his love "BASEBALL." In the spring he played coach pitch and just loved it. Tim was the assistant coach and only made him cry once. They had a great season. He was also able to go to the Diamond Back Baseball Camp this summer for a week. WOW!!! I am not sure what happened but since then that is all we do is play baseball, watch baseball (diamond backs and cubs), talk about baseball, ask all sorts of questions about baseball and we even dress up in are baseball uniforms. Yes - Tim even put his old uniform on tonight. Man - I needed that laugh...... It is a little small in a few areas. So Logan is doing great!!!! Just your typical boy......
Allie - is 14 already and I think knows the number of days until she turns 16!!!! She is doing great. She had a good 8th great pretty uneventful which I love. She has had a very busy summer so far. A few days after school got out she was off to Disneyland with her dad and they were gone for about 5 days. Then she cam home for 2 days then off to EFY (church camp) in Provo, UT and she was gone for 11 days. She was able to stay after for a few days with some friends of ours. She just loved it, she meet lots of new people from all over the place and lots from here so now she has even more friends. The more the merrier. She loves reading, hanging out with her friends, texting and being on Facebook. She is just a cool girl. Love ya babe!!!!
Meghan - Well so much has happened here which I guess is a good thing. It has been a long year for me with Meghan. I think because she is growing up and maybe I don't really want her too? Meghan graduated from Red Mountain, she is just about done with beauty school which she went to during her senior year. It was a very long year. Have I said that already? She also worked during all of this and still was able to hang out with friends. I believe her plan is to take her state board to get her licence to be a stylist and possible start school in the spring. She is always very busy and has a lot on her plate. She would have it no other way. That is Meghan!!!! We love her and we are so proud of all of her hard work....... We know she will accomplish anything she sets out to do....
Tim - Again so much has changed for us. His business is still standing through all of the economic change that is going on. We have made some changes which is a good thing. Everyday they are getting new business which I know we are blessed. If anyone can handle all of this "stuff" it is Tim. He never lets anything get him down and he is always moving forward. He is my rock and I love him so much for all he does for his family.
Me - Well as you can read we have been busy raising some kids and I think everyone is doing well. I have been doing well through all of these changes with our company and I know we will make it through it just might look a little different than I am used to which is just fine.

The Blessing in my life..............
Why in life is it so much easier to focus on all the hard stuff?
I have so many blessings in my life
1. My heavenly father that loves me no matter what.
2. My wonderful husband that listens to me rant and rave about anything and everything and still loves me.
3. Meghan who is working so hard to get through her last year of high school and beauty school at the same time. I just love how determined she is and what a hard worker she has become. She is awesome.
4. Allie always willing to try something new and never is afraid. Always willing to help someone in need. And her love of books.
5. Logan he makes me laugh. I love how he has a sweet personality and how reserved he can be. Always the one to stand in the back and watch until he feels safe.
6. Grace has the best smile and facial expresssions, shse loves books, music and she loves to dance. She is very smart and such a happy baby.
7. My parents are the best. They have always supported me in my life even at times maybe they didn't understand why I was doing what I was doing. They are both such amazing people and they have so much to offer my children. I love all they add to my children's life. They are the best.
8. Troy (my brother) is such a cool guy and has amazing qualities. Never afraid of the unknown. He is a wonderful father. He is there for me whenever I need him.
These are some of the blessings in my life and I do think of them everyday. Thank you all for letting me learn and grow eachday with you. I love you all from the bottom of my heart.

Post It Notes
So it looks like the guys finally got Meg back. For some reason I looked out the window early one morning and this is what I saw. Her car with post its all over. I just laughed and then I went into her room and let her know what the guys did to her car and she went back to sleep until I went back a little while later because now the wind has picked up outside and was blowing them all over the neighborhood. Her and her girlfriend got up half asleep with bags in hand trying to stay ahead of the wind cleaning this up.
Good Times!!!!!

Beaver Creek Summer 2008
Another day we all took a bike ride to another little town about 45 minutes away on a bike each way. The ride back was a little tougher. Logan almost didn't make it but, he held on and made it. Tough guy. Here are some pictures of what everyone did when we got to the park that we biked to. Fun Times.

Gracie and Pink Eye

A few weeks ago the kids and I were heading out of town to Sedona for a few days and Gracie's eye started to get a little funny looking. I thought maybe pink eye so I started giving her some over the counter eyedrops. As you can see they did not work so well. By the time we got back a few days later this is what we had. It does look pretty bad. Once I got the "real stuff" her eye got better pretty quick. But, in the mean time her eye was very swollen and as always she is a trooper. Live and Learn always.

No More Meds
Update on Logan - He had another seizure the first part of May so the doctor increased his medecine. Then he had a EEG done in June and the results were normal. Which takes forever for this information to get to us. After a few weeks the Dr. tells us he feels that it is time to take Logan off his medication. His doseage is pretty low and it has been about 8 - 9 weeks since his last seizure. It has been 2 1/2 days since his last dose and fine and just as normal as ever.
We say our prayers each day and ask for love and support. We know in our hearts Logan is going to be okay even if he has another seizure.

Sick
At our house everyone has had a little something gone wrong.......This past 2 weeks it seems like everyday somebody has something wrong with them. I can't even remember who or when it started.
I will start with Grace she has had two double eye infections in a month and a nasty cough with a running nose which you know she just loves to have wiped.
Logan has thrown up twice in two weeks. Took him in to get him checked out and they (we) decided to have some blood work done because he was also be complaining that he is tired and his head hurts all the time. Got the results back on Friday and they told us he has mono. Do you know this time each month for the past three months Logan has had something going on. Tuesday we go see a doctor for his seizures. I am prepared for not too much to happen.
Tim has had a migraine last week and even stayed home which he does not do. Now today he is not feeling well again and in bed.
Me, Meghan and Allie have had the 24 hour bug this past week. And that's all.
So I am hoping for a better week this week. We will soon tell.

Prom
This morning I received a call from Rachel (Meghan's friend) to ask me if Mike (this guy who likes Meghan) can come over tonight to decorate room to ask her to prom. I said that would be fine but her room is a mess. About 9:00 p.m. they showed up to decorate so Tim and I were finally able to meet him. He is very polite and nice. Mike and Rachel blew up lots of balloons and put streamers all around her room. Then they were going over to her work to decorate her car.
Meghan had a hard day at school today someone broke her mirror on her car. Needless to say she was not thrilled and didn't have any money to fix it. Her dad took the car and fixed the mirror and cleaned it all up for her. I am sure that made her feel better. I never understand why people want to damage other people things.
I don't know what her answer is yet she is still at work. I am sure she will say YES and be very excited about going. We will see.

The Night Before
So it is the night before we go and see the neurologist. Logan is such a tough guy and will be able to deal with anything put in his way. Today I took the day off from everything and went to the mall. What a nice diversion. We spent the day yesterday at the hospital all day having a MRI done and this guy is such a trooper. He wasn't able to eat from midnight on and the test was 1 1/2 hours late so he didn't eat until 2:00 p.m. which was so hard for him. He doesn't understand how long time is. But, we headed to Burger King after ward because they had the new "Spongebob" toys. He was so excited.
I don't know what we are going to hear in the morning but, I do know we will be stronger from it. Once again we are not in charge of life.

Sad Today
Today I am feeling sad because of Logan and the unknown. I know in my heart he will be okay. But, today is not easy. So many thoughts and feelings going on with me. But, what I find amazing today is that I have received an email from a great friend with lots of love and support. And then I thought of two other friends and then they called and they were a great comfort. Also, I am not good with waiting for answers and that is what I am having to do waiting for the doctors to call and schedule an appointment. I think as parents we all want nothing to be wrong with our children, we don't want them to be different or have any hard times. But, I know that I am not in charge of this and I know he will be stronger because of it. I love this guys so much it hurts. I keep asking him if he doing okay, if anything hurts and how he is feeling. I am sure I am driving him crazy and myself. But, as I am writing this Logan is with his buddies, he couldn't do his homework fast enough because he had to get out the door. He is very normal and crazy. I love having this blog so I am able to write all these feelings.

Another Seizure.......
You just never know how someday's will end up. Wednesday night we were sitting down getting ready for dinner and I look up because I hear Logan "talking" and I realized he is having another seizure. I tell Tim to pick him up and put him on the carpet so he will not hurt himself. During all of this Logan's eyes have rolled back and he is holding his arms to his chest, his lips are turning blue, he is not aware of anything going on, he is talking but you can't understand a word of it. We are scared to death. I get 911 on the phone and they dispatch the fire truck to our house which feels like forever. They take him to Banner Desert and the care at the hospital was not helpful at all. Note to everyone if you have a child with an emergency take them to Phoenix Children's if you can. The ER doctor call the Neurologist and he decided to put him on Keppra and sent us home. With not to many instructions about what to do next.
So for the past 2 days I have been trying to be on the computer and phone trying to figure out our next step. So I have gotten Logan's records and have faxed them to a neurologist hoping they will see us soon.
I am so sad for this little guy. I know he is going to be okay this is just hard for our family to go through since we never know when he will have another one. And just the image of him having the seizure makes me very sad and upset. I am stressed about him going to school, riding his bike, being a 5 year old. But, I know he needs to be as normal as possible and I will do my best to let him be 5.
I will keep everyone updated............

4 Kids...Who knew
I never thought first of all that I would have 4 children one day let alone so far apart and my last one at 39. I love the ages of all my children. We have so many different things going on all the time. From Meghan going off to work, Allie talking on the phone all the time, Logan running in the door after school and yelling HI and going right back outside to play with his cronies and Gracie who is just excited about chewing on her plastic spoon. Life is awesome. Even on my worst days I would not trade this in. My children are amazing young people and I hope they know how much they are loved and grow up to be responsible adults which I know they will. I hope Meghan and Allie will become closer as they get to become adults and understand how important it is to love your sister. Someone the other day was talking about how they couldn't image there life without their sisters and I hope one day my girls will have those feelings about each other.
This just goes to tell you once again we are not in control of everything.

Logan's Scare
So as we are out of town for my Birthday getting on the elevator and I get a call from Brad saying Logan has had a seizure and he is going to the hospital. Let me tell you how helpless I felt. This was the worst feeling in my life. I know Tim was feeling the same way. And I felt terrible for Brad and Diane that had to call me and tell us this news. I can't even imagine what that felt like. I will forever be indebted to them. Since I was hours away from being home. I called all of our family and had them get to the hospital and be by Logan's side as they did all the tests and procedures and to make him feel loved and safe until we got there. Also, we had a blessing given to him. After I knew the blessing was given I had a sense of relief come over me and I knew everything was going to be just fine. We love our families so much. Thank you all.
Well Logan is doing much better after 2 1/2 days in the hospital and a week off school. He is back to bugging his sisters and running around the neighborhood just how we like him. I do worry a little bit more about if he is feeling and of course he just looks at me like what is the big deal. He doesn't remember any part of his seizure just the drivers name "Tim." This was a incredible scary thing for our family to go through. I would like to say it brought us closer as Logan and Allie are picking on each other. But, I know it has.

40th Birthday
So for my 40th birthday Tim took me to LA for the weekend just the two of us and we stayed at La Montrose Hotel. This is a great little hotel. Would stay here again. Then Tim took me to see Wicked. This is the best play I have ever seen. Everyone must see Wicked if you get a chance. Then we went back to the hotel and had a great dinner. It was just a quiet time together. I got to sleep in for the first time in I can not tell you how long and it was great. So thank you to my family and friends for helping Tim and I go away for the weekend. It means more to us than you will ever know.

Valentine's Day
Let me tell you how wonderful day I had today. First Tim took the day off so he can spend the day with me. I went for a quick run, gave all the kids a quick valentine and sent them off to school. Then Tim and I went out to lunch to Pink Taco (great place). Then off to the mall. What a blast. This is just one of things that I love about my husband is his willingness to take me shopping and stay with it as long as it takes. We just have a blast together.
After getting home Meghan was off to the movies and she asked her sister to go with her. I was so excited for them. I just hope that they will start to understand how important there are to each other. Just one more great gift today.
Lastly, Allison got a special gift from someone (a boy) it was a heart shaped cake he made for her. He put it by the front door with kisses all around it and rang to doorbell and left. We just had a great time with her. It was very sweet.....Great cake also.
Just wanted to write about my great day. Now Tim and I will be off to LA to see Wicked this weekend....

WHAT HAPPENED IN 2007
Can you believe another year is gone!!!!! Here is a list of things that happened in 2007.
1. In February I was put on bed rest for a few weeks. It funny how we might think that would be great but, it is not any fun. WOW that was hard but, I have an amazing family and friends that took great care of me and my family. And as we all know Ella "Grace" was born July 30th. What a blessing she is to our family.
2. All of Tim's family came and visited us during the year. We love them all so much and miss them. I love how Tim and his sibling are together. The all love each other very much even though they may not talk all the time they all have such a bond with each other. I hope one day my children will be that way with each other.
3. For the next two years I will have a child in each of the different levels of school. Meghan is a Junior at Red Mountain. High. I can't believe she is going to be done with high school in less than 2 years. Wow. Allie this is her first year in Jr. High at Shepherd Jr. High. And she is loving it and also doing very well. And Logan is in Kindergarten. He did not want to go the first day and he cried and so did we. And he is also doing very well.
4. Tim and I went through the Temple for the first time. This may be the most peaceful place I have ever been. I am so blessed in my life......I can't image my life any other way.
5. We took the family to Rocky Point with our friends and everyone got to go scuba diving and had a blast. We all enjoyed the great weather and the amazing "potato tacos". You can't just have a couple of these. I can't wait to go back to eat and dive again.
6. Dad had the last of his surgeries and came out with flying colors. And feeling so much better. I love this man so much. I would be lost without him. So lets stay healthy and take care of ourselves we get one chance at this. Let's make it last as long as we can.
